Taking race weather conditions out of the equasion, spring time is always an exiting time. The cycling season on the road only truly starts when the Omloop het Nieuwsblad starts. This year the 24th of Februari is circled in red on every pro riders agenda. It should be on yours too, as that's the start of this Spring Competition over at CyclingFever.com!

[EN] One of the problems of organising an interesting Spring Competition is the number of UCI WT races. Usually, all the classics are also included in our WorldTour Competition schedule. However, we think we've come up with an interesting solution to that problem. This edition we have twenty races for you, of which nine race outside the World Tour. Nearly half of the races are less familiar to most, GP Industria, Dwars door Drenthe and Tro-Bro Léon have never before featured, so the competition element is stronger than ever.

We have chosen to rank only the best fifteen results this year, basically because there are more covered races and it still gives late entries a fair chance to get their fifteen scores on the board.
So, a nice race schedule, twenty races in total, two Italian adventures, a fair amount of Flemish hills, cobbles and Ardennes hills ahead. Twelve rider to select for every race. Simple. May the best player win!
